WMA Resolution on the Designation of an Annual Medical Ethics Day

Adopted by the 54^th WMA General Assembly, Helsinki, Finland, September 2003
and reaffirmed by the 194^th WMA Council Session, Bali, Indonesia, April 2013 and reaffirmed by the 215^th WMA Council Session (online), Cordoba, Spain, October 2020

Whereas the World Medical Association has a specific focus and function in the field of medical ethics, and came into being on 18 September 1947 during the first General Assembly, it is resolved that NMAs are encouraged to annually observe the 18^th September as “Medical Ethics Day”.
