World Medical Association Council Meeting


April 20-22, 2017

Avani, Victoria Falls, Livingstone, Zambia

The WMA will hold a Council meeting at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort, Livingstone, Zambia from April 20-22, when physician leaders from national medical associations around the world will debate a number of key issues.

Among these will be policy proposals on medical tourism, boxing, medical cannabis, and climate change.

A press conference will be held on Tuesday April 18 at 1pm in the Zebra room at the Avani Victoria Falls Resort to discuss these and other issues. The speakers will be WMA President Dr. Ketan Desai, Zambia Medical Association President Dr. Aaron Mujajati, WMA Chair Dr. Ardis Hoven, and WMA Secretary General Dr. Otmar Kloiber.
