The Director of the Pan American Sanitary Bureau has the honor to invite your
institution to participate in the 21st edition of the Pan American Health Organization
(PAHO) Walk for Health will be held at PAHO Headquarters, on Sunday, 28 September
2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The Walk for Health will be celebrated prior to the opening of the 62nd Directing
Council of PAHO, 77th Session of the Regional Committee of the World Health
Organization (WHO) for the Americas, to be held from Monday, 29 September through
Friday, 3 October 2024.
The participation of delegations, organizations and the general public demonstrated
the need for a whole-of-society approach to promoting healthy lifestyles, relationships, and
partnerships for health in the Americas.
This year’s event will provide an opportunity to promote physical activity and well-
being in a friendly and healthy environment for staff, their families and friends, delegates,
missions, representatives of international organizations, and members of the local
community—supporting the Organization’s mission to advance Health for All.
Each participant will receive a T-shirt to wear during the Walk for Health event to
