As an organization in official relationship with international organizations such as the United Nations (UN) and the World Health Organisation\u00a0(WHO), the WMA receives invitations to observe external meetings. These include amongst others, Regional Committee Sessions of the WHO, WHO Executive Board Sessions and the World Health Assembly.<\/p>\n
The secretariat is unable to staff these meetings on a regular basis. We offer our members to attend these meetings as observers. However, the WMA will not be able to defer any cost for accommodation or travel.<\/p>\n
Observers<\/b> will not be allowed to make statements<\/b> at the Regional Committee Meetings, Executive Board Meetings, WHA sessions or any other meetings, neither on behalf of WMA (if not commissioned by WMA to do so) nor<\/b> on behalf of their own organization.<\/p>\n
The attendance will have to be strictly as an observer of the WMA.<\/b><\/p>\n

Contact the WMA secretariat<\/a>, if a member of your organisation is interested in attending one of these meetings as an observer.\u00a0Registrations must be made through the WMA secretariat, if not advised by us otherwise.<\/b><\/p>\n Please note there may be a limit on the number of observers who can be registered.
