\/>\nProfessions\tAlliance\t(WHPA),\trepresenting\tover\t26\tmillion\tnurses,\tpharmacists,\tphysical\ttherapists,<br \/>\ndentists,\tand\tphysicians\tin\tover\t130\tcountries\t<\/p>\n<p>It\tis\testimated\tthat\tthere\tare\tmore\tthan\t250\tmillion\tinternational\tmigrants,\trepresenting\tabout\t3.5%<br \/>\nof\tthe\tworld\u2019s\tpopulation.\tEnsuring\thealth\tand\tpreventive\tservices\tfor\tphysical\tand\tmental\thealth,\tas<br \/>\nwell\tas\taid,\tis\ta\tstrong\tpriority.\t<\/p>\n<p>We\twelcome\tthe\tdraft\tFramework\tof\tPriorities\tand\tGuiding\tPrinciples\tto\tpromote\tthe\thealth\tof<br \/>\nrefugees\tand\tmigrants\tdeveloped\tfurther\tto\tthe\t140th<br \/>\n\tExecutive\tBoard\tdecision.\tWe\twish\tto\thighlight<br \/>\nthat\tlate\tor\tdenied\ttreatment\tis\tdiscriminatory\tand\tcontravenes\ta\tfundamental\thuman\tright.\tRefusing<br \/>\nto\tprovide\thealthcare\tis\tnot\tonly\tethically\twrong,\tit\tposes\ta\tserious\tpublic\thealth\tthreat.\tTherefore,<br \/>\nwe\tconsider\tit\tcritical\tto\tensure\tfull\taccess\tto\tquality\thealthcare\tas\twell\tas\tsafe\tand\tadequate\tliving<br \/>\nconditions\tfor\tall,\tregardless\tof\tmigration\tstatus.\t<\/p>\n<p>We\turge\tWHO\tto\tprovide\tassistance\tto\tMember\tStates\tto\timplement\tthe\tpriorities,\tin\tparticular\tthe<br \/>\ndevelopment\tof\tmigrant-sensitive\thealth\tpolicies\tand\tof\tlegal\tand\tsocial\tprotection\tagreements\twith<br \/>\nthe\tinclusion\tof\thealthcare\tbenefits.\tFurthermore,\tthe\tdevelopment\tof\ta\tglobal\tmigration\tand\thealth<br \/>\nstrategy\tnow\temerges\tas\ta\tpriority\tgiven\tthe\tincreasing\ttrend\tin\tnumbers\tof\tmigrants,\trefugees,\tand<br \/>\ndisplaced\tpeople\t(MRDPs).\t<\/p>\n<p>We\twish\tto\thighlight\tthat\thealth\tprofessionals\thave\ta\tduty\tto\tprovide\tappropriate\thealthcare,<br \/>\nregardless\tof\tthe\tcivil\tor\tpolitical\tstatus\tof\tthe\tindividual.\tThe\tright\tto\treceive\tmedical\tcare\tshould\tbe<br \/>\nbased\ton\tneed\tand\thealth\tprofessionals\tmust\tbe\tallowed\tadequate\ttime\tand\tsufficient\tresources\tto<br \/>\nassess\tthe\tphysical\tand\tpsychological\tcondition\tof\tMRDPs.\t<\/p>\n<p>We\twill\tcontinue\tto\tactively\tencourage\thealth\tprofessionals\tto\tsupport\tand\tpromote\tthe\tright\tof\tall<br \/>\npeople\tto\treceive\thealthcare\tand\tspeak\tout\tagainst\tlegislation\tand\tpractices\tthat\tare\tin\topposition\tto<br
