World Medical Association Council

The 170th Council meeting of the World Medical Association will be held at Le Grand Hotel, Divonne-les-Bains, France from 13 to 15 May 2005.

The programme of the meeting will be:

Friday 13 May: Opening , Council session Medical Ethics Committee
Saturday 14 May: Socio-Medical Affairs Committee, Finance and Planning Commmittee
Sunday 15 May: Resumed Council session

• the doctor’s role in the prevention and treatment of obesity;
• reducing the global impact of alcohol on health and society;
• the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of tuberculosis;
