World Medical Association 160th Council Session

The WMA will be holding a Council meeting in Ferney-Voltaire, France from Thursday October 4 to Sunday 7 October. Among the issues to be debated are the threat of chemical and biological weapons and a progress report on the newly revised Declaration of Helsinki relating to ethical research on human participants.

The WMA's 53rd General Assembly, which was due to be held in New Delhi, this week was postponed following the terrorist attacks in the USA.
