Adopted by the 47th General Assembly Bali,
Indonesia, September 1995
and rescinded at the WMA General Assembly,
Santiago 2005
RESOLVED THAT THE WORLD MEDICAL ASSOCIATION:
- Deplores nuclear weapons testing;
- Calls for the abandonment without delay of the testing of
nuclear weapons; and
- Requests all member associations to advise their governments
on the adverse health consequences of nuclear weapons.
